Haoqin Hong completed his undergraduate studies in 2025 at the Hanhong Honors College, Yuan-Longping Program at Southwest University, earning a B.Eng in Computer Science and Technology under the guidance of Prof. Xiaofang Hu. Starting in September 2025, he will pursue an M.Phil degree in Artificial Intelligence at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, USTC, supervised by China Distinguished Young Scholars Prof. Jingrun Chen, and he will also collaborate with Associate Researcher Congcong Zhu on Computer Vision.
Haoqin Hong's research will focus on physics-inspired vision understanding and embodied intelligent world models. He is currently a Kaggle Expert, and he previously served as a paper reviewer for international conferences such as IJCAI and IJCNN. He is familiar with development tools and platforms like PyTorch, MATLAB/Simulink, ROS and Blender. He also has a good understanding of the basic architecture and cutting-edge research trends in algorithms such as Transformer, Diffusion, LoRA, NeRF, and 3DGS.
